Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolRyan C is a Senior DevOps/SRE with 13+ years building performant, secure, and highly available cloud systems that scale to millions of users while minimizing operational headcount. He blends deep networking and security expertise (Linux, Cisco IOS, IPv6, DNS) with hands‑on software skills in Golang, Java, and Python to design architectures used in production at scale—examples include tile services serving 55k req/sec and custom autoscaling for ArcGIS clusters. Ryan is an active open‑source contributor (notably go-any-proxy and Envoy JWT extensions) and has a knack for pragmatic engineering tradeoffs, often favoring elegant, low‑maintenance solutions like his dnsmasq dynamic split‑horizon patch. Based in Bozeman, MT, he excels embedded within development teams and is comfortable moving between low‑level protocols, cloud automation, and mobile/native security (custom certificate pinning on iOS/Android). An uncommon detail: he implemented one of the first YubiKey PIV physical access control systems and routinely builds bespoke tooling to automate complex infrastructure tasks.
