Senior🎓
Top SchoolRyan Fleck is a Senior Data Engineer with nine years of hands-on experience building backend systems and enterprise solutions, currently focused on data and asset management at IBM in Calgary. He brings a strong functional-programming bent—comfortable with Elixir, Phoenix & LiveView, Django and React—and a background in Maximo EAM implementations from multiple consulting roles. A University of Ottawa computer engineering graduate, Ryan has combined internships, co-op work, and open-source contributions (including Xalgorithms Foundation projects) to bridge academic rigor with production delivery. He’s equally at home designing motor controller firmware as he is shaping cloud-backed data pipelines, and he seeks remote roles that respect medical privacy and personal autonomy.
