Top SchoolRyan Gomez is a Geographic Information Systems Analyst with nine years of experience turning messy spatial and civic data into actionable maps and stories, currently serving the Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office. He blends QGIS, PostGIS, GeoPandas and Python to reveal crime, demographic and service-delivery patterns, and builds mapping applications including Risk Terrain Modeling workflows. As a consultant he has driven measurable impact—updating 50,000+ addresses to secure a $72,000 monthly reimbursement increase and designing route and field maps for municipal sanitation. His academic work with Tufts and civic groups focused on gerrymandering risk, campus boundaries, and reproducible census processing for policy and legal use. Comfortable across the stack (AWS, Django, D3) and fluent in turning public datasets into courtroom-ready exhibits and public-facing apps, he combines technical rigor with a practiced sense for storytelling and civic impact.
