Summary
🤩
RockstarRyan Hecht is a product manager and technical leader with 11 years of experience building developer-facing and user-centric software, currently shaping GitHub Classroom at GitHub. A Brown CS graduate, he blends product strategy with hands-on engineering—previously designing release channel infrastructure at Microsoft Edge and owning full-stack development and operations for MCParks. He has a track record of shipping systems that tie real-time event-driven engineering to user experiences, from WebSocket audio and scripted in-game shows to web-based tools and APIs. Comfortable owning both roadmap and implementation, Ryan also brings operational leadership—managing finance, hiring, and teams of 50+ at MCParks. He’s equally at home running user research and prototyping as he is writing production code, and often surfaces creative, cross-functional solutions that come from combining technical depth with product empathy. Based in Orlando, he combines startup founder grit with big-tech process experience to deliver pragmatic, scalable outcomes.
