Top SchoolRyan Leonard is a DevNetOps Engineer with a decade of hands-on experience blending DevOps, networking, and software engineering at the University of Oregon and Intel. He designs and maintains production Linux infrastructure, automates CI/CD pipelines, and builds custom intrusion-detection and network-security tooling—work that includes authoring Bro modules and integrating open-source detection engines. Comfortable across the stack, he has built compilers, FPGA MIPS implementations, software rasterizers, Android tooling, and web apps, reflecting a rare mix of systems, hardware, and application-level skills. His background in formal protocol analysis and experimental research informs a rigorous approach to security and validation. Based in Eugene, Oregon, he pairs practical production operations with a research mindset, often documenting repeatable deployment and testing processes to lift team reliability. Colleagues know him as a versatile engineer who ships durable systems and contributes principled, teachable solutions rather than quick fixes.
