Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolRyan Meyer is a seasoned software engineer with over two decades of hands-on experience building everything from low-level graphics and kernel tuning to massive, globally distributed entitlement systems. He designed and operated the DynamoDB-backed entitlement service for Amazon's AppStore that handled ~1 billion entries and sustained ~100k TPS for Fire devices worldwide. Comfortable in C/C++ systems work—recently optimizing Windows games on Linux with Wine and tuning kernels—he pairs deep technical expertise with proven leadership, mentoring ~25 engineers at Amazon and leading multiple teams. His career spans startups to hyperscale cloud teams (AWS, Meta) and includes full-stack platform architecture, data modeling, and operational reviews. Equally at home writing device-level code or architecting highly available cloud services, he thrives in ambiguous, technically complex challenges. Based in Tennessee, he brings a rare combo of low-level systems craft and large-scale production engineering.
