Top SchoolRyan Oillataguerre is a founder and seasoned software engineer with eight years of experience building full-stack, cloud-native systems and leading small engineering teams. He has repeatedly translated civic and educational missions into production software—from founding Breakdown, a civic-tech nonprofit that organizes congressional data, to building tutoring and LMS integrations at Judie AI and Subject. Technically adept across Node.js microservices, Terraform on GCP, containerized CI/CD, and event-driven architectures (NATS/Jetstream), he has driven measurable product improvements like a marketplace product-match jump from 8% to 60% and conversion gains in consumer lending flows. Ryan pairs hands-on implementation with strategic product influence, having shaped roadmaps, integrations, and compliance-aware credit policies at Tenet and Ghost. Based in Los Angeles, he combines a background in political science and math with a persistent interest in justice, often choosing roles that address information inequality and access to education. Notably, he moves fast on greenfield architecture and operational maturity—turning ad-hoc stacks into testable, containerized platforms used by multiple engineers.
