Senior🎓
Top SchoolRyan Walmsley is a versatile React Native developer and IoT engineer with 13 years of hands-on experience designing hardware and software from concept through production. He has deep experience with SBCs like Raspberry Pi, PCB design, soldering prototypes, and building LoRa products, paired with full-stack software skills in Python, PHP, JavaScript and containerized deployments. At Nebra he bridged electrical and software engineering—creating Python libraries, custom UIs, installers and Docker images—and now applies that multidisciplinary approach at Smart Logistics Manager. He also founded and ran hardware-focused businesses, owning product design, manufacturing sourcing, support and documentation, which gives him practical insight into manufacturability and customer needs. Comfortable teaching and curating technical content, he brings both practical maker skills and formal training (BSc Hons in Computer Science & Business) to solve end-to-end embedded systems challenges. Colleagues value him for turning complex hardware constraints into polished, user-facing products.
