Senior🎓
Top SchoolRyosuke Sato is a pragmatic software engineer and SRE with 12 years' experience building backend and cloud infrastructure in Tokyo, currently developing authentication and authorization systems for Web.Auto at TIER IV. He has led small cross-functional teams at mixi, designing Elixir-based backends, implementing IaC with CloudFormation, and navigating PCI DSS compliance and audits. Comfortable across Ruby, Go, and Elixir, he applies Domain-Driven Design and SLO-driven engineering to both serverful and serverless microservices. An experienced on-call operator and speaker at industry events, he brings a developer-first SRE perspective and a practical blend of hands-on coding, recruitment, and team leadership. Unexpectedly, he pairs rigorous production focus with a convivial "hop dude" persona—someone who can explain reliability metrics over a beer.
