Top SchoolSacheth Hegde is a senior software engineer based in San Francisco with 11 years of experience building distributed systems, networking software, and cloud-native infrastructure. He has moved between startups and large teams—helping design software-defined global routing at Mode.net, leading network-slicing work for 5G at VMware, founding engineering at Skyramp, and now contributing at Meta. His skill set spans computer architecture and RTL verification as well as large-scale data, networking, and microservices performance, enabling him to bridge low-level systems design with production distributed platforms. He has a Cornell dual background in ECE and CS, has led cross-functional engineering teams from research to product integration, and has experience shipping both customer-facing networking features and internal automation tools. An under-the-radar strength is his history of pairing hardware-level optimizations with orchestration and tooling to squeeze real-world performance gains out of complex systems.
