Top SchoolSaeed Arbabi is an applied scientist and engineering leader specializing in end-to-end ML systems for medical imaging, combining a PhD in AI for medical imaging with 9 years of applied experience and 15+ years of software development background. He has led full ML lifecycles—from problem formulation and large-scale data pipelines to deployment and FDA-oriented monitoring—delivering 3D reconstruction, segmentation, and geometric alignment solutions used by clinicians. His research and industry work bridge generative 2D-to-3D methods, statistical shape modeling, and reproducible cloud-based workflows, with peer-reviewed publications and a growing citation record. Comfortable steering cross-functional roadmaps, he has supervised students, collaborated with institutions including MIT, and translated research prototypes into production-grade systems. Not obvious from titles: he intentionally builds reusable research codebases and visualization tools that accelerate clinical adoption and large multi-center studies.
