Top SchoolSai Jonnala is a Solutions Architect with 13 years of software engineering experience, currently leading transactional and data platform architecture at Passport after 8.5+ years there. He designs and operates cloud-native systems on AWS spanning monoliths and microservices, and has led implementation of Databricks, Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran and Looker pipelines for large-scale transactional data (100+ tables, some with 500M+ rows). Sai pairs hands-on delivery—single-handedly building reporting and AWS connectivity/graphing systems—with cross-functional leadership, mentoring engineers in the U.S. and India and shaping company-wide architecture through a long-running architecture workgroup. Recognized by executive leadership for growing people, practices, and tech, he’s also battle-tested by surviving multiple major AWS outages and solving high-scale performance, cost, and reliability issues.
