Top SchoolSai Nihas is a Senior Staff Product Designer based in Toronto with a decade-long trajectory of scaling product experiences across mobile, wearable, and web platforms, currently leading design at Shopify. He rose through progressive design roles at Shopify since 2018 after earlier leadership at Ola and consulting at ThoughtWorks, blending hands-on interface craft with product visioning for high-traffic consumer apps. Sai brings cross-disciplinary roots in visual design and engineering (Electrical & Electronics) which inform pragmatic, technically aware design decisions. He has experience owning client relationships and aligning design with business strategy, and has iterated on complex mobile ecosystems—from rider apps to commerce tooling—while mentoring teams through rapid product evolution. An observant designer who started in branding and print, he still leverages that visual rigor to create clear, usable systems at scale.
