Top SchoolSajil K is an ML engineer and educator with a PhD in signal-related research and 11 years of experience bridging computational biology, machine learning, and applied signal processing from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He has held research and data science roles at IIT Madras, GenterpretR, and academic labs where he developed proofs-of-concept for fraud detection, led active learning research, and mentored junior researchers. As Knowledge Officer at ICT Academy of Kerala he combines technical depth with curriculum and knowledge management, and has authored 50+ technical blog articles and freelance projects that translate complex ideas for broader audiences. His background spans academia and industry—from computational biology PhD work to NLP web-app prototyping during a data science fellowship—giving him a rare fluency across research, product-focused ML, and science communication. Notably, he pairs rigorous signal-processing training (including a summer school in robust signal processing) with hands-on data science applied to real-world problems like stock-market fraud detection.
