Senior🎓
Top SchoolSalil Ponde is a Principal DevOps Engineer based in Mumbai with over 17 years of experience across cloud, DevOps and software development, currently leading platform work at Leah. He has repeatedly built cloud environments from scratch—Azure and AWS—using IaC (Pulumi/TypeScript) and automated CI/CD pipelines for .NET, Node, Python and frontend apps, while designing HA and cross-region DR architectures. His background spans hands-on development (ASP.NET, React, NestJS) to running production support and monitoring for AI APIs and mission-critical services. Notable practical wins include automating database migrations and deployments, reducing manual operational toil through bespoke tools, and migrating legacy Windows stacks to containerized Linux deployments. He pairs an MSc in Advanced Computer Science with a strong track record of mentoring teams and improving operational processes, often surfacing non-obvious performance issues such as slow SQL queries and resolving them proactively.
