Top SchoolSalman Khan is a software engineer with nine years of experience building scalable web applications and cloud-native services, currently a Software Engineer 2 at Microsoft in Bengaluru. He has a strong track record migrating legacy systems to the web, improving performance and scalability while cutting operational costs and response times through targeted optimizations and caching solutions. Proficient in React, Azure Functions/App Service, SQL and Sitecore, he has repeatedly delivered reusable front-end components and backend APIs that sped development and increased user engagement. Salman combines hands-on implementation with informal team leadership—mentoring peers, guiding story refinement, and steering efforts to remove third-party dependencies for more reliable authentication flows. Notably, he automated complex platform migrations and reduced Sitecore setup time from days to hours, demonstrating a knack for operational automation beyond feature work. Outside work his GitHub bio hints at a pragmatic learning philosophy: life’s short, so build what matters.
