Summary
👤
SeniorSamaila Bala is a product-focused founding engineer with 8 years of experience building scalable web and cross-platform mobile products, currently shaping early-stage architecture at Rulebase (YC F24). He has a strong track record modernizing legacy stacks—migrating projects to TypeScript and Next.js—and shipping React Native apps that accelerated user acquisition and fundraising for creator and payments products. His work spans web, mobile, REST/GraphQL integration, and Web3 content access, combined with pragmatic QA and E2E testing to maintain high code quality. Based in the UK, he pairs an MSc in Artificial Intelligence with hands-on engineering, bringing an uncommon blend of ML-informed thinking to product engineering. Colleagues rely on him for reusable design systems and analytics-driven product improvements that cut time-to-feature and improve decision-making.
