Top SchoolSamnang Chhun is a seasoned software leader and entrepreneur with 16 years of engineering experience and a decade-plus track record building payment and communications platforms from the ground up. As Co-Founder & CTO of Chatterbox Solutions (Somleng) and prior Co-CTO at Kenorei and Bongloy, he blends deep backend expertise in Ruby on Rails and API-first design with domain knowledge in FinTech, EMV/PCI, and CPaaS/SIP. He has led teams across startups and remote consulting engagements, championing maintainable code, TDD, and strong team culture while running his own FinTech and VoIP ventures. In recent years he’s expanded into Web3—authoring smart contracts on Solidity and Solana and growing a local Web3 community to onboard new developers. Notably, Somleng is an open-source, Twilio-compatible CPaaS project that demonstrates his ability to deliver production-grade alternatives to proprietary services. Based in Cambodia, he pairs hands-on engineering with entrepreneurial grit to turn complex, regulated systems into reliable, auditable products.
