Top SchoolSamuel Fuentes is a founder, educator, and seasoned software engineer with 11+ years building and maintaining product-focused web platforms, especially in Drupal and legacy codebases. Based in Cáceres, Spain, he blends hands-on technical leadership—recently as Technical Lead at Openbank and Senior Developer at marketgoo—with academic roles such as Associate Professor at UOC and curriculum work for IMF Smart Education. He excels at shipping durable product software, navigating complex migrations and legacy systems, while also creating and delivering technical training and conference talks. A natural leader who values team-first collaboration, he pairs meticulous craftsmanship with a literary background that makes him an effective communicator and storyteller. Outside of conventional metrics, he champions long-term product value over consulting quick wins and enjoys turning messy, revenue-critical code into maintainable systems.
