Sandro Mello
Brazil
Summary
👤
SeniorSandro Mello is a lead software engineer and founding team member with 13 years of experience building secure, cloud-native systems and developer-facing tools from São Paulo. He architects and ships production-grade proxies and identity integrations—most recently designing a multi-tenant gRPC proxy with TLS/SSO and real-time protocol parsing for database and terminal traffic at Hoop. Comfortable spanning infrastructure, SRE and application code, he operates Kubernetes-based single-tenant deployments, manages Terraform IaC and leads SOC 2 security efforts while still writing core Golang services. His background in building PaaS components, identity gateways for major banks, and large-scale mail and cloud platforms gives him a rare mix of product-focused engineering and operational ownership. Colleagues rely on him to translate complex protocols into practical, auditable solutions that simplify developer workflows.
