Top SchoolSantiago Ferreira is a Senior Software Engineer II from Uruguay with 11 years of experience building scalable web and backend systems across Ruby, Elixir, Node, React and Ember. He has led engineering teams and architectures—from founding ProDeal360's SaaS platform to driving logistics and automation backends at The RealReal—balancing hands-on coding with hiring, mentoring and operational rigor. Santiago favors event-driven, observable systems (Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS) and pragmatic integrations with third-party logistics and automation hardware. A proven agile practitioner, he prioritizes code quality and long-lived solutions while actively contributing to open source projects on GitHub. Outside work he blends technical curiosity with creative hobbies like photography and an amusing attention to detail (he loves stripping utm tags from URLs).
