Top SchoolSantiago Hurtado is a Linux System Architect with 7 years of experience designing secure, cloud-native platforms for distributed and constrained IoT environments. He architects end-to-end solutions from OEM hardware and Yocto builds to Azure IoT Edge deployments, automating provisioning to cut deployment times from ~90 days to two hours. Skilled in C++, Java, and Python, he combines low-level SoC benchmarking and Yocto expertise with Kubernetes operator design and robust CI/CD pipelines to deliver high-performance, scalable data platforms. He brings strong security practises—threat modeling, IEC 62443 compliance, and secure key management—into production-grade systems. Comfortable leading cross-functional teams and vendor collaborations, he also builds test frameworks and dashboards to maintain uptime and observability. Unusually for an architect, he pairs deep embedded Linux craftsmanship with cloud operator engineering, enabling seamless edge-to-cloud solutions.
