Senior🎓
Top SchoolSarah Sweat is a senior engineering leader and project manager with nine years of experience building full-stack web products in the media space, most recently leading storytelling and kids-focused teams at The New York Times and now managing projects at .decimal, LLC. She combines hands-on JavaScript/React/Next.js and GCP delivery experience with proven people leadership—mentoring engineers, onboarding senior hires, and stepping in as interim manager for multi-person teams. Sarah has built CMS platforms, PWAs, and editorial tooling integrating services like Cloud Functions, BigQuery, and Sanity, and she’s comfortable managing vendor relationships and cross-functional roadmaps. A self-funded sabbatical in 2023 to travel and reconnect with family broadened her perspective and fueled renewed creativity in product design. Based in Orlando with openness to relocate to NYC, she blends operational rigor with a user-first mindset and a knack for turning legacy systems into modern, maintainable experiences.
