Top SchoolSaranga Abeykoon is a pragmatic software engineer and technical leader with 14 years of experience designing and delivering web applications across PHP, JavaScript and cloud-native microservices. He has led and scaled backend teams for clients in Singapore, Australia and the UK, building systems from vendor self-service workflows to mobile back-end platforms using Laravel, Node, MySQL and AWS. Comfortable moving between hands-on development and people management, he has trained and mentored large developer teams and driven end-to-end projects from requirements to production. Based in Colombo, he brings both academic grounding in IT and mathematics and a track record of filling gaps—often acting as system administrator, trainer and architect—to keep projects on schedule. Notably, his work on complex newspaper distribution and billing systems demonstrates an ability to translate domain constraints into reliable, scalable web solutions.
