Top SchoolSasha Lykhodinov is a Platforms Engineering Manager with 14+ years in software and over 8 years in leadership, currently running platform, performance and developer experience at IG Group from Kraków. He builds cloud-native, CI/CD-driven platforms across AWS, GCP and Azure with a strong emphasis on observability, SecOps and QA, and has turned legacy high-maintenance tooling into self-service platforms supporting 100+ applications. Sasha combines hands-on engineering (ephemeral test environments, K6/Gatling/Locust, Nomad/EKS/ECS, Honeycomb/OpenTelemetry) with people development, having grown performance testers into cloud-native platform engineers and kept teams stable with near-perfect retention. He introduced AI-assisted automation and an internal education curriculum to accelerate onboarding and ownership, and codified best practices in an Engineering Guidebook. Pragmatic and metrics-driven, he pairs delivery-focused leadership with deep process improvement experience across web, mobile and desktop platforms.
