Senior🎓
Top SchoolSaulius Zukauskas is a Principal Architect specialising in cloud data integrations and GenAI-enabled APIs with 13 years of experience building API-first, event-driven platforms for companies from PayPal and eBay to Nike and major banks. He combines hands-on engineering with product ownership, leading platform teams to deliver secure, observable API ecosystems, internal developer platforms, and LLM-serving interfaces. Saulius has repeatedly driven cloud-native transformation—introducing ADGs like Architecture Decision Records, DORA metrics, and API governance—while balancing build vs buy trade-offs in regulated domains such as finance and healthcare. His background spans payments, eCommerce, and large-scale API gateways (including work at Apigee pre-acquisition), giving him rare depth in both operational excellence and commercial data products. Based in Elmbridge, UK, he pairs technical leadership with a maker’s mindset—self-described as a “technologist. master builder”—and an MSc in Business Analytics that informs pragmatic, data-driven architecture decisions.
