Top SchoolSayyid Helmi is a Principal Software Engineer with 12 years of experience and 9+ years at Microsoft, specializing in platform architecture for Security & Compliance (Purview, Defender) and E‑Commerce. He leads cross-organizational initiatives that modernize UI stacks, unify Copilot experiences, and scale AI integrations while improving accessibility and developer velocity. His work reduced platform boot times from 6s to 2s, consolidated multiple Copilot implementations into a single platform UX, and replaced fragile browser storage with a persistent backend store to enable enterprise adoption. Comfortable across front-end and back-end domains, he also engineers testability and governance—introducing Storybook-driven workflows and per-PR testing pipelines that stabilized large, distributed teams. Based in Seattle, he blends hands-on delivery with architectural strategy, often resolving release-blocking accessibility and performance issues by coordinating engineering, design, and accessibility stakeholders.
