Top SchoolScott Richardson is a software engineer with nine years of experience building production systems for defense, infrastructure, and consumer platforms, now based in Seattle and currently at OpenAI following Statsig’s acquisition. He brings a polyglot stack—TypeScript, Python, Go, React, Node.js, and C/C++—and a strong computer science foundation reinforced by graduate studies at Georgia Tech. His background includes mission-focused engineering in the U.S. Air Force and high-scale observability and experimentation work at Datadog, Meta, and Statsig, giving him a practical blend of reliability, experimentation, and security-minded development. Known for navigating both low-level systems and user-facing applications, he’s comfortable translating operational constraints from defense settings into scalable cloud-native solutions.
