Summary
Sean Cox is a Senior Software Engineer with seven years crafting cloud-native and robotics software, currently building systems at RightHand Robotics. He brings a practical blend of full-stack engineering, QA automation, and AWS/GCP infrastructure experience—having built multi-tier cloud services, Docker-based test platforms, and custom automation that saved hundreds of QA hours annually. At RightHand he added tooling for robotic visualization and image-quality assessment, plus internal APIs that streamlined team workflows across Confluence, Jira, and TestRail. Passionate about medical tech and robotics, he pairs product-focused execution with hands-on debugging and reproducible replay tooling for complex systems. A Wentworth CS graduate and self-described “proud nerd,” Sean also teaches and mentors, having introduced kids to programming and shared experiments on GitHub.
