Sean Grant is a data products leader and veteran who leverages 20+ years of IT and geospatial experience to build AI-driven analytics and knowledge-graph solutions for mobility and aerospace domains. As Director of Data Products at SAE International and co-founder of Ix Tech, he bridges product strategy, cloud-native engineering (Databricks, Neo4j) and hands-on data science to drive AI adoption across organizations. His background spans geospatial intelligence in the USMC, delivering DoD contracts and commercial drone/autonomy products, and pioneering GeoAI initiatives at Esri that automated costly manual workflows. He pairs executive-level product and advisory roles (Harvard, MIT, HBR, MIT Technology Review) with practical delivery: prototypes that resolved data lineage, mission planners integrating MAVLINK, and cross-functional teams shipping complex systems. Known for advocating open standards and collaborative empowerment, he combines practitioner grit with formal training in AI and product analytics.
