Senior🎓
Top SchoolSean Gravener is a senior frontend engineer with over a decade of experience crafting scalable, maintainable UI systems for enterprise web applications, currently driving frontend initiatives at GE Vernova. He specializes in component-driven design, clean architecture, and balancing speed, testability, and long-term maintainability using React, Angular, TypeScript, RxJS/Signals and Storybook. Sean has a strong track record modernizing legacy codebases and developer workflows at organizations like TIAA, McGraw Hill, and PPL, where he also led UX refreshes, built internal tooling, and reduced operational friction. Equally comfortable with backend stacks (NestJS, Express, MySQL/Postgres, Redis) and DevOps practices, he brings a full-stack pragmatism that speeds delivery without sacrificing quality. A former instructor and mentor, he prioritizes clear documentation and cross-team collaboration, and his background in design gives him an uncommon ability to integrate aesthetics with robust engineering.
