Senior🎓
Top SchoolSebastiaan Peters is a systems security researcher and PhD candidate with 11 years of hands-on software engineering experience, focused on micro-architectural security and binary analysis. He blends academic rigor from VU Amsterdam and TU/e with practical tooling work at Trail of Bits, where he contributed to binary instrumentation and symbolic execution ecosystems. His recent graduation project at TNO developed SBOM extraction directly from binaries, enabling vulnerability and license analysis for legacy and closed-source software. Comfortable at the intersection of low-level x64 engineering and higher-level security research, he has a track record of shipping prototypes and tooling that bridge research and industry needs. Based in Eindhoven, he brings both deep technical curiosity and applied problem solving to complex systems-security challenges.
