Top SchoolSebastian Armano is an engineering manager with 11 years of hands-on software and hardware experience, blending electrical engineering roots with full-stack development expertise. He has progressed from co-founding and leading R&D and manufacturing teams in Argentina to driving product and engineering at healthtech startups in Sydney, shipping robust Rails and Node.js systems for clinical and consumer-facing products. Comfortable toggling between PCB-level design and cloud deployments, he brings a rare dual perspective that improves cross-functional communication between hardware, firmware, and software teams. A pragmatic leader and mentor, he’s delivered at companies from early-stage ventures to growing health platforms and now advises and manages engineering organizations focused on prevention-as-a-service. Outside work he retains a developer’s curiosity—comfortable in Ruby/Rails and system design—and is a passionate soccer fan.
