Senior🎓
Top SchoolSebastian Opałczyński is a pragmatic Fractional CTO and technical advisor with over a decade of hands-on experience building and rescuing Python-first products, leading engineering teams, and shaping cloud-native architectures for startups and scale-ups. Twice a CTO and a co-founder of software houses, he combines technical audits, MVP strategy and project rescue with a writer’s habit of stating uncomfortable truths backed by data. He has led teams up to ~50 people, run head-of-dev roles in fintech, and delivered core services across Django, Celery, Postgres and GCP/AWS while keeping a keen eye on CI/CD and operational resilience. Beyond code he crafts durable oak furniture—an unusual parallel that reflects his material-led, pragmatic approach to design and long-term thinking. Based in Warsaw, he mentors engineers and founders, protects clients’ interests when working with external teams, and translates messy realities into clear technical decisions.
