Senior🎓
Top SchoolSebastian Popescu is a BI developer and associate lecturer with nine years of experience designing end-to-end BI architectures and turning complex data into actionable visual stories for multimodal logistics and consumer goods clients. He combines deep Power BI expertise (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, Embedded) with hands-on skills in cloud SQL, web analytics, APIs, and process automation using UiPath, Python, R and Power Platform. As a consultant and freelancer he built large-scale tracking and PII-auditing systems, automated workflows across diverse toolchains, and led analytics implementations for multi-brand, multi-market websites. He also teaches decision support systems and e-business at Babeș-Bolyai University, bridging industry practice with classroom learning. Based in Cluj-Napoca, he’s comfortable operating at the intersection of technical architecture, stakeholder workshops, and visual storytelling—often solving instrumentation and automation challenges that others consider “edge” work.
