Senior🎓
Top SchoolSebastian Spies is a seasoned network infrastructure entrepreneur and engineer with 12 years of experience building and scaling high-performance interconnection and edge networking products. As CEO and co-founder of multiple ventures including nextPacket and Kintify CDNs, he specializes in bare-metal network edge solutions that enable rapid market deployment and multi-hundred-gigabit throughput. His leadership roles at Gcore and DE-CIX combined product strategy with hands-on software and systems work, while earlier research stints at NIST and DE-CIX helped shape routing security and route-server scalability. Backed by notable VCs for his Datapath.io startup, he blends academic rigor from a computer science master’s with startup execution, often focusing on the non-obvious systems-level optimizations that unlock predictable, carrier-grade performance.
