Top SchoolSebastien Soudan is a software architect and researcher with 12 years of industry experience and a PhD in computer science focused on bandwidth sharing and hybrid circuit/packet networks. He blends deep academic expertise in network economics, scheduling and optical networks with hands-on product leadership—co-founding Lyatiss to build a multi-tenant SaaS monitoring platform and later shaping architecture at F5 Networks and Reken. He has driven end-to-end systems from Linux kernel sensors to Kafka/Cassandra monitoring pipelines and automated AWS deployments, often contributing the most to backend and operational tooling. Known for turning research ideas into production-grade bandwidth provisioning and monitoring solutions, he favors microservice architectures and reusable service frameworks that scale. Based in San Jose, he combines rigorous formal thinking with practical engineering discipline, having led teams, CI/CD practices, and large-scale deployments.
