Senior🎓
Top SchoolSergey Biryukov is a Cloud Solution Architect with nine years of hands-on experience modernizing legacy systems and delivering scalable, secure cloud infrastructures across enterprise and product environments. Currently at Microsoft Germany, he combines deep Azure platform expertise (AKS, App Service, Azure SQL, KeyVault) with Terraform-driven IaC and CI/CD automation to streamline cloud migrations and application modernization. Previously leading DevOps at Luxoft and infrastructure teams in banking and insurance, he has driven complex cutovers, containerized Java and .NET workloads, and implemented robust observability and security tooling. Sergey pairs customer-facing leadership—developed over a long tenure managing Microsoft services and Premier support—with practical engineering skills, including use of OpenAI APIs for code assistance in modernization efforts. Based in Munich, he’s equally comfortable advising CxOs on cloud strategy and getting into the weeds of build optimizations, distroless images, and automated quality/scanning pipelines. A linguist by training, he brings a structured, communication-first approach to technical transformation projects.
