Senior🎓
Top SchoolSergey Chikin is an experienced engineer with over a decade of hands-on experience building cloud-native infrastructure and backend systems across AWS, GCP, Kubernetes and CI pipelines. He has a broad polyglot background—Kotlin, Java, Scala, Node.js and Go—paired with frontend React skills, and a practical, stack-agnostic approach to shipping software. Sergey has worked across startups, consultancies and enterprise environments, including Toptal and SafetyWing, and has led product and engineering teams as a founder and Head of IT. His early career in SAP BI and UNIX administration gives him strong data, operations and observability instincts that inform his platform work today. Based in Cyprus, he blends pragmatic DevOps with software craftsmanship and an appetite for learning new runtimes and paradigms. Colleagues describe him as someone who prefers solving problems with the best tool for the job rather than the loudest trend.
