Top SchoolSérgio Rebelo is a creative technologist and invited assistant professor at the University of Coimbra who blends computational design research with hands-on editorial and branding practice across academia and the cultural sector. With a PhD in Informatics Engineering and over a decade of experience, he develops generative and parametric methods for audiovisual and typographic systems, often using research-through-design to translate experimental code into publishable work and public exhibitions. He teaches computational design and creative coding, contributes as an integrated researcher at CISUC, and has applied evolutionary computation to procedural typographic generation during a visiting research stint in Granada. Equally comfortable sketching a brand system or prototyping generative visuals, he bridges design craft and computational methods in ways that inform both teaching and commissioning institutions.
