Top SchoolSergio Ruiz is a Product and UX Engineer with 11 years of experience building design systems and scalable front-end architectures across Latin American startups and health tech. As co-creator of UI Guideline and past Design System Lead at Eden (Eva), he specializes in React, TypeScript, Storybook and Figma to standardize components, accessibility, and fast release workflows. He has led frontend transformations at companies like La Haus and Mi Águila, blending product thinking, user research, and hands‑on implementation to turn design tokens into production-ready components. Based in Medellín, Sergio ships weekly iterations for indie communities and values tight feedback loops with early adopters—an approach that helped him formalize naming, props and best practices across multiple reference systems. He’s equally comfortable defining tech stacks and writing the newsletters that keep users engaged, bringing a mix of engineer rigor and designer empathy.
