Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolSerhiy Zabolotnyy is a seasoned iOS software engineer and team lead with 14 years of experience building universal apps and leading delivery across startups and consulting shops. He specializes in Swift (including Combine) and Objective-C, with deep knowledge of MVC/MVVM/Clean Swift architectures, compositional layouts, and persistence layers like Core Data and Realm. Serhiy pairs hands-on engineering with testing discipline—unit, UI (XC) and end-to-end—to ensure production quality in complex mobile products. His career spans repeated senior roles at DataArt, Principal engineer stints at Leia, and product work at Reface, reflecting both consultancy and product-stage experience. Holding a PhD in Computer Science from Odessa State Polytechnic University, he brings strong academic rigor to practical app engineering. An interesting facet: he transitioned from early C/C++ systems work in avionics-related projects to modern iOS architectures, giving him unusually broad systems perspective for a mobile specialist.
