Seunghyun Lim is a Ph.D. candidate in Robotics Engineering at DGIST with eight years of hands-on experience in mobile robotics and autonomous driving research. Based in Daegu, he has worked across multiple DGIST labs on projects ranging from electromagnetically actuated microrobots to upper-limb rehabilitation devices, blending mechatronics, control, and sensing. He currently advances research in the Bio Robotics and Mechatronics Lab while previously coordinating the AI Robotics KR community, demonstrating both technical depth and outreach leadership. Seunghyun’s background includes mentoring youth in robotics competitions and practical intern experience building assistive devices, reflecting a strong emphasis on translating research prototypes into real-world applications. Notably, his early microrobot autonomy work and tenodesis-based hand-assist development illustrate a knack for tackling multi-scale, interdisciplinary robotics problems.
