Senior🎓
Top SchoolShade Jenifer is a pragmatic Ruby on Rails developer with 11+ years building user-focused web applications and a strong front-end bent in React, Vue and Svelte. He has shipped production Rails work for government-grade projects like Login.gov and DHS/USCIS, contributing meaningful UI/accessibility improvements to a high-profile open-source identity provider. Comfortable across databases (MySQL, Postgres, Mongo) and CI tooling like Jenkins, he pairs hands-on coding with mentoring and team-anchor responsibilities, often driving quick turnarounds on critical fixes. Historically versatile, Shade has led front-end migrations (Angular, React), authored mobile and ESB components, and still designs UX assets when needed—an engineer who blends visual craft with backend rigor. He prefers 100% remote roles focused on Rails, Node or modern front-end stacks and is deliberate about workplace health and safety choices.
