Top SchoolShams Ahmed is a Senior iOS Engineer with 13 years’ experience building apps, SDKs and developer tooling across startups and scale-ups, currently working on iOS at Amazon in London. He blends deep Swift and Objective-C expertise with systems thinking—having developed greenfield APM/crash-reporting SDKs using OpenTelemetry and driven API/architecture alignments to keep telemetry efficient on-device. Shams has led mobile teams and products from prototype to multi-country launches, shipping high-coverage libraries, CI/CD tooling and platform integrations that scaled customer adoption. A pragmatic engineer-manager hybrid, he typically splits time between hands-on coding and shaping product roadmaps, mentoring, and improving developer productivity. Outside work he co-organises the NSLondon meetup, bringing the UK Apple developer community together to share best practices.
