Top SchoolShane Donohoe is a Lead Software Development Engineer based in London with 11 years’ experience delivering and maintaining critical national payment infrastructure at Vocalink/Mastercard. He combines hands-on engineering with platform ownership, having built self-service infrastructure pipelines, on‑prem Kubernetes clusters, and GitOps workflows to shrink provisioning from weeks to minutes. Shane champions DevOps best practices—introducing IaC testing, chaos experiments, and custom Ansible and Terraform extensions in Python and Go—to make complex systems more testable and maintainable. His background in performance and capacity analysis gives him a pragmatic focus on resilience and operability, and he consistently prioritises repeatable, idempotent automation that teams can easily adopt and run.
