👤
SeniorShane Hoey is a seasoned Unified Communications specialist with 8 years focused on designing, scoping and delivering Lync/Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams solutions, currently advising on Skype for Business and CloudBond 365 at AudioCodes. He combines deep Microsoft stack expertise—Windows Server, PowerShell, Exchange, AD, Office 365 and Azure—with practical integration experience across third‑party voice and conferencing vendors like Polycom, AudioCodes, Sonus and Geomant. Shane is strong at troubleshooting complex infrastructures and configuring networking components (firewalls, reverse proxy, QoS, load balancers, PKI), and frequently acts as the technical escalation point on projects. He also delivers technical training and presentations, and brings a hands‑on maker mentality—often spending downtime experimenting with gadgets and writing automation code. Based in Queensland, Australia, he blends operational sysadmin roots with specialist UC architecture to bridge day‑to‑day reliability and modern collaboration experiences.
