Summary
🎓
Top SchoolShane Mcgrath is a Senior Software Engineer based in the Los Angeles area with six years of full-stack experience building enterprise web applications using JavaScript, Java, Node.js, React, PHP, and AEM. At headwire.com he progressed from Frontend Engineer to Senior Software Engineer, leading small teams, hiring and mentoring developers, and reshaping content workflows by restructuring XML services and creating a custom linter for Peregrine CMS. He combines a practical backend focus with hands-on frontend skill—having implemented clientlibs, JSP/AEM components, and Vue/React integrations—bridging design and delivery for major brand sites. Trained in accelerated web development and grounded in a mechanical engineering background, he brings structured problem-solving and attention to maintainable tooling. Notably, he pairs conventional full-stack work with developer experience improvements that reduce friction for teams shipping content-driven platforms.
