Top SchoolShane Thompson is a creative director and founder with 12 years of experience leading design, UX/UI, and web development for startups and enterprise clients from Sunnyvale, CA. As founder of Ticker Design he combines hands-on product design with account and project management, delivering interactive websites, brand systems, and marketing materials for clients like Celigo and AppZen. Previously he scaled in-house creative teams at Intertrust and led cross-functional design programs for major brands including BlackBerry, Warner Bros., and Netflix. Shane’s background in game and entertainment design gives him a rare fluency in high-impact visual storytelling and production workflows across digital experiences. He’s equally comfortable managing budgets, vendors, and multi-disciplinary teams as he is diving into front-end development and SEO integrations. Outside the studio he’s known for an adventurous streak—his GitHub bio jokes about being “probably lost in Outback Australia,” hinting at a creative who values curiosity and unconventional perspectives.
