Top SchoolSharon Allsup is an experienced IT consultant and contractor with over two decades of hands-on work across payments, POS, compliance, and high-stakes financial systems, specializing in EMV, tokenization, reconciliation, and anomaly detection. She moves seamlessly between development, QA, BA, and platform ownership roles, having designed mission-critical credit systems that saved massive labor hours and tightened auditing controls for large retailers. Comfortable with legacy stacks (Informix/4GL, Unix) and modern tooling, she architects solutions, tunes SQL, and builds monitoring and validation processes for high-volume environments. Sharon excels at translating between technical teams and business domains—Accounting, Legal, HR, Audit, and law enforcement—making her particularly effective on regulated, NDA-bound projects like payments and digital forensics. A pragmatic problem-solver and mentor, she’s equally at home breaking her own designs to find edge-case defects and carrying the pager for systems that process hundreds of millions daily.
